The former barn doors that once provided the main access to the building have now been double glazed & provide views of the orchard. The large hall, a sun trap in both summer & winter; with its easy chairs and mellow limestone walls allows you to idle away the hours with a good book listen to a CD or watch the local wildlife including the red squirrel .
The lounge is centred around a wood burning stove with digital television and DVD, tub chairs & settee. Leading from the lounge is the large kitchen/dinning area with views of the Pennines from the window. The fitted kitchen is very well equiped with a split level cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge & automatic washing machine.
The two bedrooms on a minstrels gallery, one double & one twin have fine views. Crisp fresh linen, duvets & tea towels are provided.
The modern light airy bathroom has a pedestal basin, bath, WC & power shower. There are polished oak floors throughout with scatter rugs, full oil central heating. A cottage with its original roof timbers exposed, that has been described as "imaginative & cosy with excellent facilities".
